Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA):
Corpus Christi Parish welcomes new members into the Catholic Church through a process known as the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). RCIA is for those who have never been baptized, those who have been baptized in other Christian traditions that are not Catholic and for those who were baptized Catholic but have not received Eucharist and Confirmation.
Through the RCIA adults grow in their relationship with God, become familiar with Catholic teaching and practices and become acquainted with fellow parishioners to become a more active member of Corpus Christi. In the company of faith-filled parishioners who serve as RCIA coordinators those seeking sacraments share experiences of prayer, faith-sharing, instruction and discussion to discover how faith can be nurtured and sustained in the Catholic Church.
