“Our help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”

My dear friends in Christ,

In our responsorial psalm for our Liturgy today, we hear that “Our help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” (Psalm 112) When we put our trust in God, we are never let down or disappointed, for God is the creator of all things and will be with us until the end. Keep strong in the faith, confident that through hard work and perseverance, justice and love will prevail in the end.” the LORD will guard your coming and your going, both now and forever. We need not fear for He is always with us to lead us and guide us.

Tickets are now on sale for our Christmas Dinner Dance which will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 immediately following the 4:00 PM Mass and Christmas Tree Lighting. Tickets are $20. We will also have the drawing for our Super 50/50 at the dinner. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and so I ask that you please purchase your book and return it in the envelope provided to the Rectory or in the collection basket.

Faith to Move Mountains Update: A retainer has been sent to the Architect who will begin his preliminary assessment on the work to be done to upgrade the facilities and also make them more accessible. This has been a lengthy process but one which, through your generosity, will come to fruition. Monies from the Faith to Move Mountains Campaign will be used to fund this project.

Please keep in your prayers all those who have no one to pray for them.
