My dear friends in Christ,
When Paul and Barnabas returned to Antioch to proclaim the Good News, they had made a considerable amount of new disciples. They told these new found followers to persevere. “It is necessary for us to undergo many hardships to enter the kingdom of God.” As a first time Pastor, I know what it’s like to undergo many hardships while navigating through the peripherals of a parish. Financially, we have an obligation to the Diocese to meet our assessments, pay our bills, and make sure that the physical plant is properly maintained. I know how difficult it is to continually ask for financial support. We have certain goals that need to be met such as the $55,000 goal for the Annual Catholic Appeal. To date we have roughly $22,000 pledged toward that goal. I would ask that if you have not made a pledge to please consider doing so so that we can meet our goal. Your checks can made payable to: ACA, Diocese of Trenton, P.O.Box 70170, Newark, NJ 07101.
There was an error regarding the Mass Schedule change which was solely my fault. The change will take place the weekend of July 6th/7th. My apologies for the mix-up.
